HORIZON PAINTINGS

The Horizon paintings came about after an extended trip overseas, with each painting taking its inspiration from a slice of a photographic image.

This ongoing body of work is inspired by the nuanced differences in light and the tonality of colour palettes present in landscapes and seascapes where the sky and the horizon line meet. Spanning Europe and Australasia, these works encourage us to notice the every day and how seasons, location, time of day, and climate help deepen our natural environment experience.
